I love the guide with a few exceptions. Can I make changes to the colours in the guide?

Yes! This Guide has been designed to help you. Use all the suggestions or only a few. It’s entirely up to you. This is your project, and we understand that you may already have a particular product or colour, that you’d like to include in your build. To assist with this, the Guide includes an integrated Note Section within each product line so that you can personalise and/or make notes on anything you might want to change or are questioning. The Guide is provided to make this part of the construction process user-friendly so that you can confidently know how your finished project will look and function.

Can I use a supplier that has a similar product?

We have had great feedback on the products that are featured in this Guide, which is why we recommend them, but again, yes! There are many suppliers out there that manufacture and sell the same or similar products. If you, or your builder, have access to products that you like, from another supplier, then simply switch that component within the Guide.

Can I give this guide directly to my builder?

Definitely. In fact, we’re hoping you do. This Guide has been set out in a client-friendly manner, so that it is clear, concise and easy to read without being overwhelming. But this also makes it builder friendly. As mentioned in the Introduction, if there is anything that you’d like to include that is unique to your project but not found within the Guide, working with your builder, or the VHH, is highly recommended. We can also be the bridge between you and your builder. Simply contact us and we can discuss how you’d like us to work with your builder.

I’m not set on a builder, do you have an recommendations?

We have a number of builders that we can recommend for your project, however, at this current time, all builders, associated with the VHH, are Sydney/Southern Highlands/Blue Mountains/Greater Metropolitan area based. If you are building in these areas, great! Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to make builder recommendations for other states. We do also recommend that you get a builder involved in your project ASAP, as they are always the best indictors when it comes to pricing your new build or renovation.

I’m struggling to find tradesmen, do you have any recommendations?

Trades in the NSW areas of Sydney and Greater Metropolitan areas can be recommended but not currently outside these areas, at this time.

There is another design style I’m tossing up between that you don’t have a scheme for. Can you help further?

Of course! We can provide further assistance either via In-Studio appointments, if you’re based in the Sydney Metro area or a zoom meeting, should you be in a Greater Metropolitan area. Please enquire through our website for more information.
